The Hostellerie Provençale is one of Uzès’ original Uzes, typical village of Provence in the south of France.

Located right by Place aux Herbes in a 300 years-old building, l’Hostellerie Provençale offers the charm and character of a typical Provence hotel, while providing the modern comfort our guests expect from a 3-Star hotel, including air conditioning, elevators, WIFI internet, mini bar, LCD TV, bathroom with spa tub, whirlpool shower or Italian-style shower.

“La Parenthèse” restaurant offers dishes from the region, with fresh local ingredients and products from the Provence terroir.

Hostellerie Provençale is the brain child of two gourmet food enthusiasts. Eric Aumard started out in the business by managing the family-owned restaurant in Saint-Germain-en-Laye for 7 years. François Duchesne began as an apprentice in the restaurant called Le Pot au Feu, before climbing the professional ladder in various star-awarded restaurants: Les Célébrités, Gérard Pangaud, Gérard Vié and le Potager du Roi, just to name a few. They joined creative forces in 1990 to open the restaurant called Le Baladin Saint-Louis in Versailles, which not only became an absolute must in the town, but also the caterer to the Versailles Castle. They opened the restaurant called Le Passage in Biarritz, offering a new angle on traditional cuisine, which kept them busy for another 7 successful years.
